Crimean Sunny is produced since 1951. The wine is made from the Shabash grape variety and local grape varieties that grow in the Crimea. The young wine is aged for four years in half full oak casks in the sun. After ageing follows bottling and the best examples of this remarkable wine go for storage in bottles and after many years of ageing it become selected.
Crimean Sunny has deep amber colour. The palate of wine is full, harmonized, and bitter with pronounced madeira tinges and hints of roasted nut kernels.
The matured wine contains 18.9 % of alcohol and 4.0 % of sugar.
