   The subtropical air climate of the region, protective shields of mountain chains, stony soil of valleys heated by the hot sun create unique conditions for the production of high quality fortified wines like Crimean White Krymwein. Crimean White Krymwein is produced since 1944 from Rkatziteli, Aligote and other white grape varieties. Grape is harvested when natural sugar content has reached no less than 18% . The period of ageing in oak barrels is 3 year. After, wine is bottled and stored in cold tunnels. By the time of sale, fine white ports have acquired a tawny, dark-tawny or amber colour. They gain a beautiful soft, mature, rich port wine bouquet, as well as a full, rich palate with notes of honey and almond, great balance and harmony. 

    White Ports Crimea are known for their long lingering finish and aftertaste.
