Ayu -Dag Aleatico is the most delicate dessert red wine made by Massandra since 1892  from the Aleatico grape. The old grape variety came to Crimea in 1830 from Italy and it can still be found growing south of Florence. In Crimea it is growing near Alushta and Al-Danil. It is believed to be related to the Muscat. This grape variety is able to accumalate an an exceptional high natural sugar level in the seaside valleys, open to sun.

The resultant wine has 16.1 % of alcohol and 18.5 % of sugar.

  Ayu-Dag Aleatico impress everybody by its ruby colour and velvety palate and tinges of cacao in a gentle aftertaste. is bottled after 2 years of olding in oak barrels of 400-800 litres. Long-term bottle aging makes its tasting note even more distinctive.
