Aroma/aftertaste
bouquet is bright, complex, with flavors of vanilla and nut. The palate is full, harmonious, pleasantly hot with a brightly expressed Madeira nose and spicy aftertaste.

Crimean Sunny is the remarkable wine. It is produced since 1951 of Shabash, Albillo, and other European grape varieties grown in the valleys of the South Coast of the Crimea .

The grape are harvested when the sugar content is not less than 16%. Crimean Sunny ageing is going in non-filled up oak barrels in the open sunlit yards during the four years. During many years wine ageing in the open air, naturally lose nearly 40% of its volume. Massandra tolerates such losses for the sake of higher quality of the noble drink. Crimean Sunny keeps more energy of the sun than any other wine. It can be considered a twice born wine: first, when it is made from the grape that has saturated the sun rays, second – while maturing in half full casks left in the sun to develop the full maderisation.

The colour of the wine is from golden to dark amber. The palate is full, harmonious with pronounced madeira tinges and hints of deep roasted walnuts.

It is the best and most elegant aperitif, exeptional to some extent. Crimean Sunny is a fine tonic, used for medication and for energy rehabilitation. It ia a good companion when fishing, hunting or hiking. It will encourage and cheer you up, if taken in a certain doze.

Honored with two gold medals in the International Competitions.
